Dan has over thirty years of professional experience in various industries including, renewable energy, computer hardware and software, medical devices, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, wearable technology, and timekeeping technology.
Additionally, Dan has over twenty-two years’ of experience as an adjunct accounting and finance instructor at DeAnza College, Menlo College, San Jose State University, Foothill College, and UC Santa Cruz.
As the Director of Finance, Dan is responsible for management of the company’s fiscal operations, fiduciary compliance, financial reporting, tax guidance, financial analyst support, budgeting and forecasting.
Dan received his BS in Accounting from San Jose State University, and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University.
Dan is a passionate about the environment and sustainable energy. He volunteers for the SurfRider Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, International Mountain Biking Association, Mid-Peninsula Open Space Preserve, Save the Sea Otter – Capitola, Canary Foundation (cancer research), and the Second Harvest Food Bank. His hobbies include surfing, playing guitar, mountain biking, triathlons, organic gardening and a vegan lifestyle, travel, yoga, and reading.
He is active in several professional organizations, including the Commonwealth Club, Institute of Management Accountants, and the State of California Teachers Association.
